The slogan also applies to the Cazander Brothers, but this time we are talking about the NIVEA family, the Beiersdorf company in Hamburg, Germany. In 1911, the now famous skincare brand Nivea was launched and sold in a fancy art nouveau design tin. Just fourteen years later, the blue and white design was introduced which has been the simple, yet distinctive Nivea look ever since. Nivea, by the way, stands for ‘snow white’, and is derived from the Latin word ‘nix, nivis’, meaning snow.
This family business has been Cazander’s valued, regular customer for more than twenty years. In May, our seven-strong team dismantled a Mailander 431 coating line with a 27-metre long LTG tunnel oven in the Beiersdorf plant, a project that took us approx. three weeks. We sold the Mailander coating line to a good customer in Pakistan and the line was transported directly from Hamburg to the end customer.
It is worth mentioning that our team had to comply with Beiersdorf's strict safety standards, which are probably the highest in Europe and perhaps even worldwide.
